The papers comprise one spiral-bound, self-published textbook entitled The Duval course of negative retouching (1944) with 4 photographic prints enclosed; a brochure entitled Profit from these business and sales aids (possibly separated from the self-published volume); an envelope with a label describing the enclosed negative (3.5 x 5") as "a completely retouched and etched negative for guidance and reference" (possibly separated from the self-published volume); five typescript letters and one envelope from Albert Duval to his student, Mrs. Francis Harkins, variously dated from 7 March 1953 to 30 April 1953.
